Growing Bulbs Webinar

Spring flowering bulbs are one of the first colors of spring in many gardens. So, we delight in growing tulips, daffodils, crocus, scilla and many other bulbs in our flower gardens, around trees and in meadows. However, knowing which bulbs grow best in different settings, planting them properly, and protecting them from hungry critters is essential. Many gardener struggle each spring with bulbs that either don’t flower or don’t show up at all. Some are frustrated with bulbs that last a year or to then fizzle.

I’ll talk design ideas for bulbs in the ground and pot and ways to protect them from animals.  Fall isn’t just for flowering bulbs. I’ll discuss planting garlic and shallots in fall for the best success.
